                            TRAVEL TO AND AROUND ST. JOHN, USVI

• St. John (U.S. Virgin Islands) is a U.S. territory with U.S. citizens using U.S. currency; however, all  travelers must have a passport for traveling here.
  
• Visitors to St.  John  will arrive via St. Thomas (by plane) with a 20 minute ferry ride to St. John.
  

• A rental vehicle is necessary to get around (and up and down) St. John.  Unlike the U.S., in  the Virgin Islands we drive on the left side of the road.
  
  

  GROCERY SHOPPING ON ST. JOHN 
   

• There are several good markets for grocery shopping for this St. John villa.  Markets have everything from fresh seafood, meats, fruits and vegetables to wonderful prepared meals for picking up and enjoying back at the rental villa.   All markets carry a large selection of beverages including beers and wines.

• St. John is home to many incredible restaurants.  All are unique with plenty of
  variety for any appetite.  Most meals are enhanced by dining open-air in lovely
  tropical settings. 
                  
  

  SHOPPING ON ST. JOHN
   

• Shopping on St. John is a great treat.  From the beautiful Mongoose Junction shopping complex to Wharfside Village to The Marketplace and all the small shoppes in between, on St. John shopping is wonderful and relaxing.  Spend time browsing and strolling around taking the time to visit with the Virgin Island “locals”. There is an abundance of beautiful local art to view and purchase on St. John .  St. John is home to more than a hundred artists all with unique talents in many forms of art.  Whether it be paintings, ceramics, clothing, jewelry, etc.....there is an endless variety of art and shopping to tempt one and all.
