Positive: We had a truly wonderful experience thanks to the exceptional care provided by the caretaker and his wife. From the moment we arrived, they looked after us with genuine warmth and hospitality, always ready to assist without the slightest hesitation. Their kindness, attentiveness, and welcoming nature made us feel completely at home. It was clear they take great pride in ensuring guests are comfortable and well taken care of. We’re truly grateful for their efforts and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for stay.

Negative: We visited Nuwara Eliya from July 19 to 22, 2025, and during our stay, the area experienced unusually heavy rain, mist, and dense fog. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, we were unable to enjoy the beautiful views outside the bungalow — everything was completely obscured. The bungalow itself didn't seem designed to withstand such damp and chilly conditions. The interior felt extremely cold and damp, and without any heating system in place, it was difficult to stay warm. The beds were especially cold and uncomfortable, and our children had trouble sleeping because of the low temperatures. However, what truly made a difference during our stay was the incredible warmth and kindness of the caretaker and his wife. Despite the difficult weather, they looked after us with genuine care and without hesitation. Their hospitality and attentiveness helped to offset the discomfort we felt due to the weather. In many ways, their support became the highlight of our stay, and we’re deeply grateful for the way they took care of us.
