Privacy is abundant and the home offers the ultimate place to unwind and offers a great central location to venture off to all points on the Island. 10 Minutes to downtown Bar Harbor, 15 minutes to Northeast Harbor & Southwest Harbor, and the many trails and attractions of Acadia National Park.

Summary: The home was situated on a well-maintained dirt road in a beautiful, private wooded setting. We were given a code for the front door lock and felt very safe and secure at night. The house has a very nice open floor plan. We were very impressed with how clean the home is, with beautiful floors and very comfy living room furniture. The modern kitchen is furnished with everything you need to cook meals and save left-overs, with a laundry room off the kitchen. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom and plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathrooms. There are three bedrooms, so plenty of room for a family or couples who want to travel together. We didn't use it, but there's a fire pit in the backyard that would be perfect for cool evenings! Morning coffee on the back deck was so relaxing! This was the perfect place for us... private, quiet and only 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. We are planning another trip next fall and this will be our favorite place to stay.
