This vacation rental cabin is nestled on the beautiful St. John River bank in Allagash, Maine. ITS trail system is accessible from here. Relax and rejuvenate in our authentic cedar hot tub (open seasonally April-October) which sits directly on the riverbank. Enjoy starlit soaks while the river flows nearby. Channel your inner chef in the open-air outdoor kitchen. Grill up a feast and dine amidst natures beauty.
Whether you’re coming to climb or hike, brook, ice or muskie fish, hunt, canoe or kayak, snowmobile, four wheel, looking for wildlife, feed the deer in the winter or just to disconnect and relax, this is your place!
The cabin is located directly between two North Maine Woods checkpoints, Little Black and Dickey, one mile from each. The Deboulie Mountain area is not a far drive from the cabin with plenty of great hiking trails. We are located nearby Trail systems for your snowmobliling and four wheeling adventures. Canoes and kayaks are available locally for renting.
Your comfort is our number one goal at the Caron Camp. Bedding linens are bleached and blankets and comforters are sanitized with each and every visit. We take great pride in cleaning and preparing for incoming guests.

Summary: This was our second time staying at the amazing Caron Camp! It is the perfect getaway for those who need a peaceful and relaxing north woods getaway. You have access to the incredible Maine north woods where you can fish, kayak, canoe, hike or look for wildlife. Becky the host is so lovely, kind, and responsive! The camp is always super clean, spacious, and offers a variety of seating areas no matter what the weather. We look forward to staying again!
