Positive: Set in a peaceful, idyllic location surrounded by lush nature and singing birds, and just a short walk to the wild coastline, Cuatro Vientos provides a respite from noise and invites rest. The individual casitas offer more privacy with balcony and in-unit kitchenettes and the private rooms in the open air shared house organically encourage communal engagement (and cooking in a very spacious and well-equipped group kitchen). There is a horseback riding stable across the street (you can book 1 - 2 hour rides with the company) and the presence of these beautiful animals close by is soothing. A small grocery store and Italian restaurant are less than a 5 minute walk away. 30 - 45 minutes by foot, 10 - 15 minutes by bicycle or a quick atv/moto/car ride gets you to the center of ST town. The staff and hosts are kind, responsive and communicative. Pets and the local cat are embraced with love. For those who want to "disconnect" from busy and "connect" with nature and self, the proximity to the tidepools and rugged landscape of rock and ocean hugged by palms and deeply rooted trees reminds you to rewild yourself.
