Stay in one of the original houses in 1860 on the historic Moosabec reach. Very comfortably restored and private with views of the ocean. Watch the lobster boats come in with their catch!
The bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor so no stairs to climb.
There is a small patio next to the house that overlooks the gardens and with a direct view of the beautiful Moosabec Reach.
Jonesport is about halfway between the coastal town of Lubec and Acadia National Park. Beals island is just across the bridge, and Wass Island where you can hike the Nature Conservancy trail with stunning views of the coast.
This is a small town with a large lobster fishing fleet. There aren’t any crowds, and there is one small restaurant and convenience shop in town. A hardware store, a lumber store, and a gift shop make up the downtown area as well as the neighborhood gas station.
Spend the day sightseeing at Acadia, take one of the puffin viewing tours out of Milbridge, or one of the whale watching tours out of Lubec!
Hike the many coastal trails in the area, visit the historic light houses such as Quoddy Head in Lubec.
Visit Roosevelt Campobello International Park.
