Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is an experience hotel. We traveled here to see Ecuador and what makes it unique and this hotel fulfilled this purpose. It screams !rainforest! from the bungalows to the pool and the dining area. You are immersed in the Amazon. The grounds are lush and the lighting is appealing. The bedroom is not luxury comfortable but I had no problem sleeping. I would strongly suggest booking this hotel. Mother nature even helped our vibe by raining in the evening and what a joy to hear it against the palm frons outside the window.

Negative: There needs to be little updates such as a towel rack in the bathroom and a rack to put soap on in the shower. They are trying to have an authentic experience but they need to add a few modern day conveniences. They did a great job adding a light beside the bed and incorporating the bamboo aesthetic. This needs to happen in the bathroom as well.
