Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was perfect. I walked to most of the places I wanted to see. I loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful. My bed was massive, complete with a mosquito net. I was very comfortable. Their in-house restaurant lacked veggie-based meals, but what they did have was delicious. The general artwork hanging around was well-chosen. I appreciated the general aesthetic.

Negative: My least favourite aspect of this accommodation was the showers. At times, the pressure was so low that I couldn't even wash the shampoo out of my hair. It was a horrid way to start every morning! Do not rely on the restaurant. Sometimes they'd book it out, meaning the guests were ejected from the area. As I was here during monsoon season, that meant I'd have to get sopping wet to go out and find something to eat! Something was living in my ceiling, perhaps a bird or a gecko, scratching all night. It kept me awake. Despite staying here for a week, nobody offered to clean the room. The desk had no outlet near it.
