Summary: This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides.
The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen).
The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk.
The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for
breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel.

Summary: This hotel has up side and down side.
The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect man who run the place (Gadjen).
The down side are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk.
In addition to that, it is a new place which is not finished yet completely, so we herd construction sounds. On top of that they do not have enough towels, so sometimes we got them wet from washing.
The hotel has 2 units, one can fit to families in other to a group. On one of the night the group in the other unit make a loud party until 3 am.

Summary: We stayed at this delightful mountain cabin in Ella. It hangs off the mountain, faces directly west for the perfect sunset between two peaks. The view is breathtaking. The pictures do not do the tiniest bit of justice.
It's a brand new cottage with 2 seperate units. One with a bedroom + loft sleeps 4 people. The other is a two bedroom.
The only downside to this place is getting there.. some steel hills, big vehicles cannot go.
Tuk Tuks... that struggle to get up the hill or walk.
It's worth it once you get up there and will never want to leave.
The host/caretaker Gajen is very attentive and friendly.
We had some issues with payments, etc as they are new landlords and just learning.
Also watch out for additional charges for tea and "cooking charges". Just clear that up when you enter... Make your own tea.
Other than that, would absolutely recommend this place.
