Positive: This place is truly special. Hidden in the middle of the jungle, it is owned by the kindest, warmest family. I arrived feeling unwell after catching a cold, and from the very first moment they took care of me like family — bringing me natural medicine, preparing hot water, checking on me to make sure I was okay. Even though the road to the place isn’t suitable for cars, it never felt like an inconvenience. The owner kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the main road, always with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with so much love. What stayed with me the most was the genuine kindness of the people. I felt safe, cared for, and completely at home. The owner also shared so many helpful recommendations for Sri Lanka. I couldn’t recommend it more.
