We purchased this Suissevale gem in 2021 and touched every every room with modern updates. We primarily used the home ourselves and it's outfitted for our family with many personal touches and upgrades that you don't often find in straight up short-term rentals.
The entire house has all brand new furnishings throughout (no lake house hand-me-downs here). While the house is new to us, we are not new to hosting. We are premier hosts with 5 years of experience and 44 5-star reviews with our Florida property and now we're ready to share our family's lake house with your family!
The Downstairs features an open concept Living/Dining and Kitchen with KraftMaid cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Hardwood floors and big windows that offer views of States Landing Beach and Boat Launch, which is a quick stroll from the front door. We just installed Air Conditioning in June and added a $20K custom gas fireplace with floor to ceiling natural stone in November. We have a 55" Smart TV in the main living room that has cable. We upgraded the wifi access throughout the house for those that need to stay connected.
Rounding out the first floor is a bedroom featuring a new Queen size bed, Smart TV and an attached updated bathroom. Upstairs you'll find a large bedroom featuring a band new Casper King size bed, a balcony and a workstation for those who need a virtual office with a view. There is also a large bathroom with a double vanity, a shower/tub combo and a brand new LG Wash Tower laundry center. The 3rd bedroom is our nautical lake themed and has a brand new Queen bed with a twin over twin trundle set up to sleep 4.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all brand new All-Clad pots and pans, plus dishes for inside and outside dining as well barware and serving ware. We also have added a Kitchenaide mixer, a Nurtibullet blender, a Kureig Duo coffee station and all the gadgets and gizmos you need to cook in our well laid out kitchen. (We even provide a variety of spices and oils for you to use.).
Our bedrooms are outfitted with brand new mattresses, hotel quality bedding and towels. No need to lug sheets from home, this house is ready for you to relax. In addition to the bath towels, we also provide beach towels for your use during the summer months and cozy soft throws to cuddle up in the winter. We also have a full size, brand new washer & dryer for your use during your stay.
Outside you'll find a large newly updated deck with water views. During the summer it is furnished with a top of the line Sunbrella sofa and chairs where you can relax at night under the stars or have an evening sunset drink after a busy day at the lake. We recently added a 6 seat counter height dining set to maximize the lake views while dining. We also have a gas grill for your use. In the back yard you'll find a fire pit where you can make some S'mores and enjoy the evening surrounded by lovely maple, pine and birch trees.
Just across the street is States Landing Beach and Boat Launch where you can walk over to watch the beautiful sunsets or have your morning coffee on the beach. The recently completed beach, boat launch and dock are brand new. Hang out there all day if the Suissevale beach gets too crowded. It's like having your own neighborhood beach. We even provide the beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella so you can pack a little lighter.
Head over to the Suissevale beach for stunning views and a beautiful sandy beach with swim up floating islands, picnic grounds and a playground. There's also a tennis court, basketball court and playground up at the Suissevale community center. During the summer and fall weekends there is often live music and activities to enjoy, as you become part of the community during your stay.
The entire house is upgraded, right down to the light fixtures. We've installed the extended wifi package for your entertainment or work needs. For your safety, we added Google smoke alarms and CO detectors along with an electronic lock for easy guest access. We also have a smart doorbell and an outdoor security camera that is on the driveway facing the street which is used for security of the property only. (No guest areas are covered, just the driveway.)
