This location is "over the top" family friendly! Shearwater cottage is a 15 minute stroll walk to the white sands of Pemaquid beach. There you'll find more of the Atlantic (yes the big ocean). Beachcomber nature center offers conservation based activities for young minds, Mimi's By The Beach offers lunch and dinner, as well as lots and lots of sand and lingering sunsets.
This four bedroom, three and a half bath beauty was recently built with an authentic Maine vibe and comfort in mind. Two levels of "shiplapped" charm include an open living area with vaulted ceiling and lots of windows~an invitation to natural light and views of the beautiful secluded wood setting.
The kitchen was created for chefs on vacation by chefs, two decks, a walk out basement with entertainment system and game room.
There's more to enjoy on the outside including a grill, fire pit, horseshoe pit, and of course everyone's favorite-cornhole! Oh and it also includes a view of the Milky Way and ten billion stars (quite likely but not guaranteed.)
