Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Taru Villa. The place is stunning, the rooms are decorated with taste and attention to detail, and the hotel overall is truly splendid and perfectly human-sized. The restaurant is delicious with a very talented chef — special mention to the Sri Lankan breakfast, which was as generous as it was tasty. The staff is extremely attentive and lovely. I therefore highly recommend this hotel, which for me is one of the best in Sri Lanka. The only small point is that it would be more transparent to specify the taxes to be added to the services, particularly for the spa treatments, which are not negligible!
