Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The friendly and caring host, Krish, gave me a warm welcome and showed me around. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. Everything you need has been provided, including a variety of teas, coffee, sugar, & sachets of creamer, salt & pepper, shower gel, laundry liquid, etc. The apartment is compact but extremely comfortable. Surprisingly, there are 2 toilets. The beds are quite large, and the mattress has the perfect degree of firmness. I slept so well here! It's an easy 18-20 min walk to the centre of town. If you need a taxi, it's best to try to hail one while walking down the street. I would happily return to stay here in the future. Highly recommended!

Negative: I wasn't able to find a suitable phone number to book a taxi - although Krish did provide me with one, the driver was based at La Caudan (the other side of town) and wasn't available. However, once in town, it wasn't as hard to get a taxi back home. I walked into town twice, and it was a lovely walk - it was nice to experience Port Louis at close range while walking.
