DIGBY STUDIO and DIGBY LODGE (HA 7146914) (separate listings) - Nestled within Acadia National Park, you have direct access to Park trails, and Norumbega Mountain is directly across the reservoir (no swimming allowed). The trail around the pond is a leisurely thirty minute walk. The house faces west, and the sunsets are lovely.
Remodeled in 2000, this cottage has a living room, bathroom, and kitchen on the first floor. The second floor has the bedroom with a flat screen Smart TV, and a Bose surround sound with DVD/CD player. You are up in the trees-it's quiet and luxurious.
Amenities include good WiFi and a wireless printer. Cell service is excellent; there is a new tower a mile away. There are two parking spaces and a separate entrance off of Route 198.
There is an owner's cottage where Gabby and I stay, and "Digby Lodge" (Home Away listing HA 7146914)) that sleeps 5 in the front. We do not have any neighbors. This is seclusion at its best.
Finally, know that we wipe everything down with Clorox, and we have installed hand sanitizer dispensers. Also, should you desire a 24 hour time between cleaning and check-in, we will gladly accommodate you.
