2 Bedroom Condo in Canoa

Playa Del Sol is a 3 building 15 unit adult, gated, condo development North of Bahia de Caraquez and about 5 km south of Canoa Ecuador. The condo sits directly on the beach and you just have to open the back gate and your toes are in the sand. In the center of the property is an infinity pool that appears to drop into the Pacific ocean.
Our condo is on the ground floor, air conditioned and handicap accessible. It has a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer, dryer, internet, tv (no tv service) with a Netflix equipped DVD player. The condo has a 4 person maximum capacity with a minimum age of 13 and a minimum stay of 14 nights.
The property has 3 covered gazebo with a bbq, tables, chairs and running water. Fresh seafood, fish, fruit and vegetables can be purchased at the local market for very low cost and enjoyed at the bbq.
Smoking is allowed in the parking lot only. Electrical plug ins are 110, as in North America. This property is available July 1 - Dec. 31.

Summary: Ray and Terrie's place is perfect for enjoying the beach! The pool is such a wonderful place to just relax! The sliding glass doors directly opening to the beach give you a wonderful view and the breeze and sound of the waves is incredible. We never even used the air conditioning! The people living in the condo complex are incredibly friendly (but not TOO friendly!) and helped us get fresh fish (a guy comes to the gate a few times a week!), taxi rides and information on local happenings (trivia night at Surf Shack was super fun! An art show at Canoa Suites to benefit a local animal shelter!) A three mile walk on the beach or $3 taxi ride gets you to Canoa for great food and tiendas. A $5 taxi ride gets you to San Vicente for much more and an $8 taxi ride gets you to Bahia for even MORE! Also, there is a bus that stops out front. Everyone uses that to get to shopping, but uses a taxi to get back because it's easier carrying your shopping. We can't wait to go back!
