Summary: We are so glad that we chose the Flip Flop House for our two week stay on Isabela. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable and is situated toward the back end of town, but near to several restaurants, cafes tour operators, pharmacies and grocery stores and about a 7 minute walk to the beach and the Flamingo Lagoon. Communication with Elena was excellent, she was always available to answer questions, both before and during our stay.We did not cook much, other than breakfasts, but the kitchen is fairly well equipped with the basics if you do want to prepare a meal. The only thing missing - a suggestion Elena - is a kettle. The local coffee is pretty bad, ground coffee is almost impossible to find, so I recommend drinking either instant coffee or tea. It was no problem as we just used a pot on the stove to heat water. Speaking of water, there was ample clean potable water supplied regularly to the house and we were happy that we had no stomach issues. The air conditioning also worked very well.Elena recommended that we bring our own snorkeling gear and were able to snorkel at Concha Perla. This place had probably the best snorkeling with wildlife, that we did on any of the islands.We felt very safe walking around the area at night, though it gets a bit noisy at the weekends even at 3am, though the house did a good job of cutting out most of the sound.Elena was an excellent host and we would absolutely stay here again!
