Summary: Staff extremely helpful - ordering transport, giving advice, checking you had everything you needed. This is far away from Kandy which is good if you want quiet and beautiful views. The plunge pool is a nice touch and means you can relax whilst taking in the surroundings. Pickme can be tricky in Kandy with drivers cancelling trips. Or they arrive, cancel you trip and try to renegotiate another price and as not everyone wants to drive that far you can’t be picky. The breakfast at the property was very tasty - English and Sri Lankan options. I had dinner there too. Unfortunately the cut of beef they chose should be slow cooked but it wasn’t and therefore was fatty and chewy. However the curry and rice were very tasty. NB this property does not have a lift and some rooms are up more than 60 steps from the ground floor, which is also up some steps as it is built into the hillside.
